To provide you with transparency, we'd like to share with you how we try to keep costs as low as possible.
- We work with gardeners, agroforestry, forests, rangers, and agriculturists, all over the world to plant near these areas based on your preferences.
- We work with a variety of education centers, educational institutions, orphanages, non-profit organizations, non-governmental organizations, and local townships or agencies.
- 80 percent of the cost goes directly to our reforestation program, which includes, but is not limited to, covering seeds, sapling growth and nursery costs, transport, planting, protection and monitoring, reporting and replanting if the first sapling fails in the tropics (fire, flood, drought, disease, grazing, overseeing and researching soil), and the costs of due diligence, screening, auditing potential new projects, working with existing projects, reporting to the network, and so on.
- 15% of costs are devoted to female empowerment, education, and social change: campaigning and outreach, awareness raising, tree education, leadership development, and network building in the global expansion of funding streams that restore more forest.
- Finally, 5% covers the costs of The Savior of Life (SOL) Foundation ™ websites, employees, and other resources.
