Project Title: Support 200 vulnerable women to initiate market/kitchen gardens and tree nurseries to enable them generate income for their survival whilst trying to promote green growth and environment conservation.
Beneficiaries- 200 women
Project goals:-

• Initiating kitchen/market gardens and tree nurseries as income projects for vulnerable women
• Promoting environment conservation through tree planting
• Promoting good health/nutrition in households through availing foods that are cheaper but nutrients rich from our kitchen/market gardens
• Promoting the rights of women/girls to socio-economic development through utilization of incomes derived from our kitchen/market gardens and our tree nurseries

Impact of the project to beneficiaries:

• 5 kitchen/market gardens and 5 tree nurseries have been established to generate incomes for 200 women
• Community greening and tree planting has been accelerated using seedlings from our tree nurseries
• Self- employment opportunities for vulnerable women has been created through initiation of kitchen/market gardens and tree nurseries
